 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Performs electrical design &amp; inspection (i.e. low/high power distribution systems, industrial control systems, lighting, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares contract plans, special provisions, and engineer's estimates
 </li>
 <li>
 Reviews drawings and recommends necessary changes
 </li>
 <li>
 Research design options and document findings for Project Managers
 </li>
 <li>
 Job duties will involve a mixture of office and field work
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-EAC Accredited Degree); Specialization in Electrical Power Systems preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Virginia PE preferred or the ability to obtain Virginia PE license
 </li>
 <li>
 Five+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with CAD software
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent writing and communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to work as part of a team both in the office and in the field
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to travel for short term assignments on an as-needed basis
