Day to day, you'll...</b></h2><ul><li><div>
Review articles, charts, and other materials for tax accuracy, updating current content</div></li><li><div>
Proof, edit, and organize content to ensure it facilitates reader understanding</div></li><li><div>
Tailor content to the defined audience to ensure it meets the user&rsquo;s needs, knowledge, and experience level</div></li><li><div>
Create new articles, charts, and other materials</div></li><li><div>
Evaluate user feedback and make recommendations for enhancements to content based on that feedback</div></li><li><div>
Independently research and analyze federal and state tax law in order to validate content for accuracy or draft new content</div></li><li><div>
Monitor and analyze tax law changes</div></li><li><div>
Support web content management</div></li><li><div>
Respond to customer support inquiries from Tax Research Center users</div></li><li><div>
Other duties as assigned</div></li></ul>
What you'll bring to the team...:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group as a member of a team</li><li>
Circular 230 credential (attorney, EA or CPA)</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to effectively research complex tax issues and effectively communicate findings</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills to include oral and written communication</li><li>
Knowledge of tax research principles, procedures, and techniques</li><li>
Operational knowledge of tax law and regulations sufficient to understand and explain elements of personal, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, estate, gift, and international taxation</li><li>
Strong writing and editing skills</li><li>
Writing skills to explain complex tax information in a clear manner and in plain language</li></ul>
It would be even better if you also had...:
<ul><li>3 years of experience in tax preparation and/or tax research</li></ul>

Pay Range Information: The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&amp;R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit. Pay Range: $25.87 - $38.80/Hr.</div>
