About the Role We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Deskside Support Technician to provide comprehensive technical support to our on-campus employees. In this role, you&rsquo;ll handle daily IT support requests, resolve hardware and software issues, manage end-user devices, and ensure smooth IT operations with minimal supervision. You&rsquo;ll work closely with IT teams and end-users to deliver high-quality technical assistance and maintain service-level goals.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide hands-on deskside support to onsite personnel, customers, and service providers.</li><li>Perform installation, configuration, imaging, and reimaging of laptops, desktops, and peripherals (monitors, docking stations, etc.).</li><li>Handle IMAC (install, move, add, change) activities including upgrades, break/fix, and data migration.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve intermediate to complex hardware and software issues.</li><li>Support meeting room technology, video conferencing (MTR), and VoIP devices.</li><li>Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning and retrieval.</li><li>Maintain accurate records in the incident management system and ensure SLA compliance.</li><li>Collaborate with remote IT infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve technical issues.</li><li>Manage asset inventory and participate in racking/mounting of hardware and cabling in comms rooms.</li><li>Provide VIP and executive-level IT support when required.</li><li>Mentor and guide junior technicians, contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in deskside or desktop support.</li><li>Strong technical troubleshooting skills for Windows OS, Microsoft 365, VPNs (Citrix), and remote tools (Bomgar).</li><li>Basic understanding of networking fundamentals and IT hardware infrastructure.</li><li>Experience with racking/mounting servers and network devices is a plus.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, time management, and customer service skills.</li><li>Fluent in the local language (C1/C2) and proficient in English (B2 or higher).</li><li>Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Education and Certifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in IT or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).</li><li>CompTIA A+ Certification required.</li><li>Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification is a plus.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 12 monthsApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have valid work permit in Turkey?</li><li>Can you join us immediately?</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Turkey (Required)</li><li>English (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>&#305;stanbul (Required)</li></ul>
