We&rsquo;re seeking a Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our in-office team in Hackettstown, NJ.Position OverviewThe Bookkeeper will manage ongoing bookkeeping and data entry for our business clients while supporting our accounting team with tax preparation, client communication, and special projects throughout the year. This is an in-person position offering variety, stability, and room for professional growth within our firm.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping for multiple business clients</li><li>Record financial transactions and reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts</li><li>Prepare and organize reports for accountants and management review</li><li>Assist with tax preparation data entry and document tracking during busy seasons</li><li>Communicate with clients to request missing information or clarify details</li><li>Support general administrative tasks and occasional special projects as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting support (QuickBooks experience strongly preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of debits/credits and general ledger fundamentals</li><li>High level of attention to detail and organizational ability</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work in-office full time and thrive in a team-oriented environment</li><li>Integrity, professionalism, and a client-service mindset</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Background in an accounting or tax preparation office</li><li>Experience handling multiple client accounts simultaneously</li><li>Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, Excel workbooks, and data-entry accuracy checks</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience and performance</li><li>Quick raise potential for strong performers</li><li>Company 401(k)</li><li>Health insurance reimbursement</li><li>Paid time off (PTO)</li><li>Commissions for bringing in new business</li><li>Performance-based bonuses</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease submit your resume and cover letter explaining your experience with bookkeeping and client support.
