 Job Purpose
 
 
 
 &bull; Support the implementation of the organization&rsquo;s Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure suitable documentation is available to users through timely and efficient issue, revision, and replacement as appropriate.
 
 
 &bull; Promote a positive quality culture and support operational activities with the analysis and development of necessary related training and documentation including sector specific IMS plans, procedures, templates, and forms.
 
 
 &bull; Accurate records related to audits, quality activities / requirements, and IMS are maintained and accessible.
 
 
 &bull; Conduct internal quality audits of operational activities and other functions / tasks to assess and confirm level of compliance with IMS documentation and identify opportunities for improvement.
 
 
 Principal Accountabilities
 
 
 &bull; IMS document maintenance, administration, and improvement.
 
 
 &bull; Review and address user IMS feedback.
 
 
 &bull; Prepare the communication of IMS changes and updates to users.
 
 
 &bull; Identify potential quality and IMS training needs and develop / deliver such training as agreed.
 
 
 &bull; Collate quality performance data necessary to support the achievement of organization objectives.
 
 
 &bull; Support the preparation of the organization&rsquo;s quality Audit Programme.
 
 
 &bull; Lead internal quality audits and participate in external audits conducted by the organization&rsquo;s Third-party certification body as required.
 
 
 &bull; Support activities for the organization&rsquo;s Third-party ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 certification of IMS.
 
 
 &bull; Conduct quality audits of PMEC, contractor, and other subcontractors / suppliers per the Audit Programme.
 
 
 &bull; Follow-up and ensure the closure of any non-compliances identified through quality audits or inspection processes.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor and follow-up audits to ensure the completion of the quality cycle.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor and provide feedback on PMEC, contractor, and other subcontractors / supplier quality audits or inspections.
 
 
 &bull; Support the implementation of quality incentive processes.
 
 
 &bull; Assist with evaluations of subcontractors / supplier quality compliance capabilities prior to contract award.
 
 
 &bull; Participate in quarterly Senior Management reviews of quality performance and IMS outcomes.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
 
 
 
 &bull; University qualification in a relevant engineering or manufacturing or management field.
 
 
 &bull; Minimum five (5) years&rsquo; work experience in the application of quality assurance / quality control principles in Oman and/or UAE. Experience in major infrastructure construction or manufacturing is ideal, rail sectors is an advantage.
 
 
 &bull; Communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English language. Written and spoken Arabic language is an advantage.
 
 
 &bull; Competent user of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and online document control systems.
 
 
 &bull; Third-party certification as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
 
 
 &bull; Qualifications in Train the Trainer are an advantage.

Quality Senior Specialist

 Job Purpose
 
 
 
 &bull; Facilitate the implementation of applicable environment and sustainability elements of the company&rsquo;s Integrated Management System (IMS) to assigned operational activities / packages of work.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor operational activities / packages of work activities in respect of legal and other environmental and sustainability compliance requirements, report identified issues, and as necessary provide guidance / assistance to operations team and those involved with packages of work.
 
 
 &bull; Identify and communicate opportunities to improve environment and sustainability related IMS documents to Head of Quality and Environment.
 
 
 &bull; Support continual improvement of the organization&rsquo;s performance towards it achieving environmental and sustainability objectives.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Principal Accountabilities
 
 
 
 &bull; Monitor and assess the implementation of Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for operational activities, and the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for packages of work.
 
 
 &bull; Verify and maintain the organization&rsquo;s environmental legal and other requirements register.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor operational activities / packages of work in respect of legal and other environment and sustainability compliance, report identified issues and provide guidance / assistance as necessary.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor and provide feedback on PMEC, contractor, and other subcontractors / supplier environmental site inspections.
 
 
 &bull; Collate environment and sustainability performance data necessary to support the achievement of organization objectives.
 
 
 &bull; Support the implementation of an Emergency Response Plan covering potential environmental incident situations or occurrences.
 
 
 &bull; Participate in Internal Audits or external audits conducted by the organization&rsquo;s Third-party certification body as required.
 
 
 &bull; Follow-up and ensure closure of any non-compliances identified through Audit or inspection processes.
 
 
 &bull; Identify potential environmental and sustainability training needs, and deliver such training as required.
 
 
 &bull; Support the implementation of environmental and sustainability incentive processes.
 
 
 &bull; Report on all organizational operational activity environmental related incidents to HSE Management.
 
 
 &bull; Participate in the investigation of environmental related incidents, ensuring the development and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence, as required.
 
 
 &bull; To assist with evaluations of subcontractors / supplier and sustainability compliance capabilities prior to contract awards.
 
 
 
 Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
 
 
 
 &bull; A degree in a relevant environmental or sustainability field and/ or sciences, engineering complemented with qualifications and certifications in environment and sustainability field.
 
 
 &bull; Minimum five (5) years&rsquo; work experience in the application of environmental and sustainability management principles in Oman and/or UAE. Work experience in construction is ideal, and experience in rail sector is an advantage.
 
 
 &bull; Communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English language. Written and spoken Arabic language is an advantage.
 
 
 &bull; Competent user of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
 
 
 &bull; Working knowledge of online environmental and sustainability regulatory reporting systems (i.e. waste management, environmental breaches and incident reporting) in Oman and/or UAE.
 
 
 &bull; Third-party certification in ISO 14001 Auditor.
 
 
 &bull; Qualifications in Train the Trainer are an advantage.
