A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what’s special about each local marketplace.
 
Outside Salesperson is one of those trade names and is looking for a Outside Salesperson at their Phoenix, AZ location.
 
Pay for Outside Salesperson is Commission Only at this location.

About the Role: 
You will: 
<ul>
<li>Attract and retain customers. Proactively conduct face-to-face customer meetings, visit job sites, and meet with decision makers to provide the best possible customer experience.</li>
<li>Work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets.</li>
<li>Analyze sales reports and tools to establish strategies that assess customer purchase potential, grow market share, and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.</li>
<li>Process sales orders, bids, and job information packages, and perform all sales functions in accordance with Company policy and procedures.</li>
<li>Actively participate in scheduled sales meetings, complete customer call reports, and maintain current customer profile data.</li>
<li>Find innovative ways to grow sales with existing customers and identify and implement opportunities for value-added services.</li>
<li>Investigate and resolve customer problems, address pricing deductions and material returns timely and in accordance with Company policy and procedure, and follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Work with the customer, Profit Center Manager, and Credit Manager to facilitate payment of all accounts receivable; communicate any changes in a customer’s business that might cause a credit risk.</li>
<li>Support Inside Sales and all Profit Center activities as part of our Profit Center Team.</li>
<li>Join industry associations to stay informed about market conditions, new technologies, and trends.</li>
<li>Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.</li>
<li>Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.</li>
</ul>
About You: 
<ul>
<li>1+ years outside sales experience, contractor sales preferred.</li>
<li>Able to drive for company business. As a company business driver, you must:</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years old.</li>
<li>Possess a proper and valid driver’s license.</li>
<li>Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy.</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center</li>
</ul>

<li>Demonstrate the deep product knowledge required to answer customer questions and identify opportunities to upsell or cross sell.</li>

<li>Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.</li>
<li>Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process orders.</li>
<li>Read, write, speak, and understand English.</li>
<li>Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</li>

Pay for Assistant Profit Center Lead is between $55,000 and $65,000 per year at this location.

About the Role: 
You will:

<li>Function as the manager when the Profit Center Manager is not onsite.</li>
<li>Assist with the recruitment, development, training, coaching, evaluation, and management of the Profit Center team.</li>
<li>Analyze performance data and implement appropriate strategies to increase sales, improve operating efficiencies, manage assets, and increase return on investment and profit sharing.</li>
<li>Assist with servicing customers, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and warehousing and sales as part of the Profit Center Team.</li>
<li>Build relationships in the community to understand the marketplace, increase market share, and identify new markets.</li>
<li>Conduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain and insist upon a safe working environment in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards, OSHA, DOT, and any other applicable regulations.</li>
<li>Safeguard and maintain all Profit Center assets – buildings, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables.</li>
<li>Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li>
