The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in semiconductor technologies.Applicants should have the ability to commute regularly to the San Jose office.Application Process:Send the following to hglegalrecruiting@hglaw.com:<ul><li>Resume</li><li>Cover letter</li><li>Transcripts</li><li>Writing sample</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Draft and prosecute patent applications in various technical fields with emphasis on electrical engineering technologies.</li><li>Coordinate large and complex patent portfolios in the U.S. and globally.</li><li>Perform third party rights analyses.</li><li>Mentor and support the professional development of junior staff.</li></ul>Job Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution as a Patent Agent or Patent Attorney.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering required; Advanced degree and/or industry experience in electrical engineering preferred.</li><li>Substantial patent drafting and prosecution experience for semiconductor technologies required.</li><li>Must be a registered patent agent before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.</li><li>Patent Attorney candidates must be admitted to the CA state bar</li><li>Strong academic credentials.</li><li>Strong technical writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, and accurate patent applications.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.</li><li>Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.</li></ul>Why you&rsquo;ll love working for HG We offer a collegial and casual work environment.
