Assists the Campgrounds Manager and Parks Maintenance Manager &ndash; C.O. in planning, directing, coordinating daily operations, maintenance, improvements, and expansion of designated campground for the safety and enjoyment of all citizens utilizing the facility.</div><p></p><div><b><br>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Under the supervision of the Campgrounds Manager and Parks Maintenance Manager &ndash; C.O., oversees and assists in the day-to-day operations of designated campground; assists in recognizing, prioritizing, planning, and directing the work of the campground staff and volunteers engaged in campground operations and maintenance. Participates in and supervises daily operations of the campground to ensure courteous service, a safe well-maintained environment, and proper use of facilities and equipment.</div><div></div><div><br>
Assists Campgrounds Manager and Parks Maintenance Manager &ndash; C.O in interviewing, making hiring recommendations, training and scheduling of Parks Customer Service Associates, Park Maintenance, and Camp Host staff; oversees daily gate and campground maintenance operations.</div><div></div><div><br>
Assists in developing and updating park rules and regulations. Monitors campground for any rule and regulation infractions and safety concerns; communicates accordingly.</div><div></div><div><br>
Assists in maintaining campground compliance regarding safety, health and USACE standards.</div><div></div><div><br>
Initiates and documents any incidents, injuries, citizen claims and personnel corrective action measures; adhering to Hall County established reporting guidelines and timelines.</div><div><br>
</div><div>Maintain campground records, documentation, and reports.</div><div></div><div><br>
Maintains an open line of communication with the Campgrounds Manager and Parks Maintenance Manager &ndash; C.O. Assists in communicating pertinent information to supervisors, partners, staff, and customers.</div><div></div><div><br>
Assists campground staff in day-to-day operations; enabling the campground to operate and maintain higher standards of customer service and campground appearance, maintenance, and functionality.</div><div></div><div><br>
Assists with the design, development, and editing of brochures, advertisements, and public relations materials; assists with marketing facility to the community, citizen groups, and clubs.</div><div></div><div><br>
Assists with scheduling of special events and programs.</div><div></div><div><br>
Assists with preparing written proposals and reports concerning competitive fee schedules, ways to maintain self-sufficiency, promoting park attendance and reaching full capacity.</div><div></div><div><br>
Expected to work most weekends and holidays during season (March 1- December 31).</div><div></div><div><br>
Regular and predictable attendance is required.</div><div></div><div><br>
Performs other related duties as required.</div><p></p><div><b><br>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED</b></div><p></p><div><b><br>
Education and Experience:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
High school education, GED or equivalent.</div><div><b><br>
</b></div><div>Previous management experience.</div><div></div><div><br>
Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the minimum level of qualifications, stated above.</div><div></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:</b></h2><div></div><div><br>
Valid Class C driver&rsquo;s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).</div><div></div><div><b><br>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, database software.</div><div></div><div><br>
Knowledge of operation and maintenance requirements of a large park or campground.</div><div></div><div><br>
Knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of Parks and Recreation activity management.</div><div></div><div><br>
Knowledge of landscaping, plants, grass, fertilization, weed control, and general beautification, and the proper safety precautions in the workplace.</div><div></div><div><br>
Ability to plan, direct, and organize programs and special events.</div><div></div><div><br>
Ability to manage and supervise personnel performing a variety of tasks.</div><div></div><div><br>
Ability to meet with the public and give clear, concise information.</div><div></div><div><br>

ADA MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Physical Ability: </b>Tasks require the ability to exert physical effort in light to moderate work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light to moderate weight (25-50 pounds). Duties include the ability to operate a personal computer, cash register, and commercial motor vehicle.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Sensory Requirements: </b>Tasks require the ability to communicate orally.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Environmental Factors: </b>Essential functions are regularly performed with exposure to adverse environmental conditions including weather. Tasks may involve substances that require special handling.</div><div></div><div><br>

Campgrounds Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY</b>:</p><p>
This position is responsible for indigent interviews for the Public Defender&rsquo;s office, State Court, Juvenile Court and Family Law Information Center.</p><p><b>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><p></p><p><br>
This position is responsible in assisting the public, answering phones, attending court proceedings, creating and maintaining excel reports.</p><p>
Receiving and tracking payments and contracts, processing attorney complaints, receiving and processing invoices.</p><p>
This position is also responsible for verifying assets on applications, responding to inmate letters, preparing appointment orders for judges, accessing and entering attorney information on ICON, entering daily entries of appearance for all criminal cases in Hall County, preparing and mailing approval/denial letters to defendants, preparing daily emails to jail for inmate interviews, and completing all filing for defendants files.</p><p>
This position is responsible for tracking indigent defense coverage for State Court proceedings.</p><p>
Preparing calendars and attending court proceedings for State and Superior court.</p><p>
Preparing, sending, and tracking all new Public Defender clients.</p><p>
Maintains Public Defender report.</p><p>
Prepares deposits and maintains deposit report.</p><p>
Helps track attorney invoices on excel reports.</p><p>
Regular and predictable attendance is required.</p><p>
Perform other related duties as assigned.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:</b></p><p><b>
Education and Experience:</b></p><p>
Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field is required. Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred.</p><p>
Experiential requirements including three years of office experience and/or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.
</p><p>Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office.</p></div>
