The Human Resources Coordinator performs a variety of confidential, administrative, and clerical tasks to support the overall operations of Hallack Contracting, Inc. Prepares correspondence, reports, and other documentation, maintains departmental records and files, assists with benefits administration and payroll, coordinates hiring activities and enters and processes data. This position will require the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and have strong problem-solving skills.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage the recruitment process including job postings, screening candidates, and onboarding.</li><li>Coordinates pre-employment background checks, physicals and drug tests.</li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, FMSCA and employment labor laws.</li><li>Handling highly sensitive/confidential information.</li><li>Utilize SAGE 300 CRE.</li><li>Perform customer service functions for both employees and the general public.</li><li>Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.</li><li>Assists with and performs routine clerical/office duties.</li><li>Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Associates degree in Human Resources or related field, SHRM-CP or a minimum 3 years experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and OSHA regulations.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Effective communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels.</li><li>MUST be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
