How you will make an impact</div><div>
As a Specialty Account Manager, you will drive new prescriptions for our Halozyme products by effectively educating, influencing and selling to targeted specialties like Urologist, Endocrinologists, Rheumatologists and Primary Care Providers. They will maintain a high level of knowledge of the condition and/or disease states along with the specifics of managed care insurance plans and state and federal payer programs.</div><div></div><div>
In this role, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to:</div><ul><li><div>
Deliver company-approved data and science-driven sales presentations to target prescribers and their office staff</div></li><li><div>
Apply company provided segmentation data and other information to customize presentations to individual physicians</div></li><li><div>
Possess the market, business, and product knowledge to engage in productive sales calls</div></li><li><div>
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of managed health care plans, as well as state and federal reimbursement policies, to ensure that access to Antares products is not impeded</div></li><li><div>
Educate physicians and nurses on how to guide patients to self-inject</div></li><li><div>
Educate physicians and staff on the Halozyme product labels partnerships</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
To succeed in this role, you&rsquo;ll need:</div><ul><li><div>
Minimum of Bachelor&rsquo;s degree with at least 2 years of experience selling of specialty pharmaceutical products (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)</div></li><li><div>
Knowledge of prescription pull-through tactics</div></li><li><div>
Ability to conduct sales call, build rapport, interact while using electronic equipment and make presentations to surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, hospital administration, payers, insurers, health-care providers, peers and co-workers.</div></li><li><div>
Excellent negotiation skills</div></li><li><div>
Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel</div></li><li><div>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills</div></li><li><div>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</div></li></ul><div></div><div>

The most likely base pay range for this position is $98K - $125K per year. Several factors, such as experience, tenure, skills, and particular business needs, will determine an individual&rsquo;s exact level of compensation. Base salary is only one element of employee compensation at Halozyme. Total compensation could include bonuses, sales incentives, and equity awards.</div><div></div><div>
