This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal career while contributing to impactful client outcomes.Duties<ul><li>Manage all aspects of legal case files, including opening, maintaining, and closing files with precision using document management systems such as FileVine.</li><li>Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and reports with meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>Assist attorney with client interviews and gather necessary information through effective interviewing techniques.</li><li>Schedule appointments, court dates, depositions, and coordinate communication between clients, witnesses, and external parties.</li><li>Maintain accurate data entry for case tracking and billing purposes while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.</li><li>Support litigation processes by reviewing documents for relevance and accuracy, managing deadlines, and organizing evidence for court presentations.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>At least five years of knowledge of personal injury law procedures.</li><li>Proficiency in legal case management software and document management systems.</li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.</li><li>Excellent writing skills for drafting pleadings, correspondence, reports, and summaries that are clear and professional.</li><li>Exceptional proofreading and transcription abilities to ensure error-free documents.</li><li>Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.</li><li>Superior phone etiquette coupled with outstanding clerical experience in a law office setting.</li><li>Ability to perform administrative tasks such as e-filing, data entry, document review, and maintaining meticulous records.</li></ul>Join our team if you&rsquo;re passionate about supporting attorneys in delivering justice for personal injury clients!
