The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor responsible for aligning people strategies with business objectives at Hanwha Convergence USA. This role oversees workforce planning, performance management, compensation and payroll cost analysis, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations while partnering closely with leadership and HQ HR to drive organizational effectiveness and sustainable growth. Selected General Affairs functions are also included.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Strategic HR Business Partnership (15%)</b></div><ul><li>
Act as a trusted HR advisor to leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business strategy.</li><li>
Support organizational stability and growth through workforce planning, organizational design, and policy governance.</li><li>
Establish and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and governance for the U.S. entity.</li><li>
Provide data-driven HR insights and recommendations.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Performance Management &amp; Evaluation (25%)</b></div><ul><li>
Design and administer company-wide performance management and evaluation processes.</li><li>
Manage goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual performance cycles.</li><li>
Link performance outcomes to compensation, promotions, and talent decisions.</li><li>
Coach leaders and managers on effective performance management practices.</li><li>
Analyze performance data and recommend organizational improvements.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Compensation, Payroll &amp; Payroll Cost Analysis (20%)</b></div><ul><li>
Coordinate payroll operations and ERP/HRIS updates in partnership with Finance and external vendors.</li><li>
Conduct payroll and labor cost analysis against budget and workforce plans.</li><li>
Analyze labor cost trends by department, project, and headcount changes.</li><li>
Prepare payroll and labor cost reports for leadership.</li><li>
Administer benefits programs including 401(k), health insurance, supplemental insurance, and paid leave.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Employee Relations &amp; Compliance (20%)</b></div><ul><li>
Manage employee relations matters with fairness, consistency, and professionalism.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state (Texas), and local labor laws.</li><li>
Coordinate with legal counsel and accounting partners on HR-related matters.</li><li>
Support audits, investigations, and HR risk management.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
HR Operations &amp; Records Management (10%)</b></div><ul><li>
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, recruitment files, organizational charts, and HR documentation.</li><li>
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality within HR systems.</li><li>
Utilize HR metrics and analytics to support reporting and decision-making.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
General Affairs &amp; Administrative Oversight (5%)</b></div><ul><li>
Manage office, vehicle, and warehouse lease agreements.</li><li>
Oversee travel coordination, inventory management, and document retention.</li><li>
Ensure efficient and cost-effective administrative operations</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Skills and Abilities:</b></div><ul><li>

Education and Experience:</b></div><ul><li>
Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (business level or higher).</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.</li><li>
8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HRBP or managerial role.</li><li>
Experience in performance management and payroll/labor cost analysis.</li><li>
Experience working in a multinational or global HR environment.</li><li>
Working knowledge of U.S. and Texas labor laws.</li><li>
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HRIS/ERP systems, and collaboration tools.</li></ul><div><b>
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:</b></div><ul><li>
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment.</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., parts, boxes, binders).</li><li>
Occasional travel (up to 15%) to company facilities</li></ul><div></div><div><b><i><br>
