Are you a coffee enthusiast with a love for playful environments? Our local play cafe is seeking a friendly and energetic seasonal Barista to join our team! We're looking for someone who can craft delicious beverages, maintain a clean and inviting space, and provide excellent customer service to families enjoying our play area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique and vibrant setting where every day brings smiles and fun.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform opening duties, including preparing the coffee station and ensuring the cafe is ready for guests.</li><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company specifications and recipes.</li><li>Regularly check on the condition of the play area and restrooms throughout your shift, ensuring they are clean, safe, and tidy for our young guests and their families.</li><li>Execute closing duties, which include basic cleaning of the play area, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies alongside the MOD.</li><li>Assist customers with their orders, answer questions, and provide a welcoming and helpful experience.</li><li>Handle cash and card transactions accurately.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous barista experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.</li><li>A genuine love for children and a patient, friendly demeanor.</li><li>Morning and/or Weekend availability is a must and you must be available May-July. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.</li><li>Must be able to pass a background check.</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>$11 per hour plus tips</li><li>Employee Perks</li></ul>If you're passionate about coffee, enjoy working with families, and are looking for a dynamic role in a fun environment, we encourage you to apply!
