Position Title: Accounting AssistantLocation: Shreveport, LAJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, 8am-5pmPay: $50,000-60,000 based on experienceAbout the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Assistant to support our finance and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working with financial data, invoices, and accounting software.Responsibilities<ul><li>Process accounts payable</li><li>Enter and maintain accurate financial records</li><li>Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking</li><li>Support month-end and year-end closing procedures</li><li>Assist the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration experience preferred</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage confidential information professionally</li></ul>Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
