Job Title: Assistant Technician &ndash; Eicher Commercial VehiclesJob Purpose:To assist senior technicians in carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repair of Eicher commercial vehicles in compliance with company standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth vehicle performance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of Eicher trucks, buses, and other commercial vehicles.</li><li>Support in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision.</li><li>Perform basic service tasks such as oil changes, filter replacement, lubrication, wheel alignment checks, and battery inspection.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of tools, equipment, and the workshop area.</li><li>Ensure timely documentation of work performed and update job cards accurately.</li><li>Follow safety protocols and Eicher service guidelines during all repair activities.</li><li>Assist in pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.</li><li>Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of jobs.</li><li>Attend product and technical training sessions as required to enhance skills.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Basic knowledge of automobile systems (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electricals).</li><li>Ability to use basic hand tools and workshop equipment.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and work under the guidance of senior technicians.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Discipline in following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety norms.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Education: ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).</li><li>Experience: 0&ndash;2 years of experience in vehicle servicing or maintenance (freshers with technical knowledge may also apply).</li></ul>Work Conditions:<ul><li>Workshop / Service Center environment.</li><li>May involve physical work such as lifting, bending, and standing for long hours.</li><li>Adherence to Eicher service schedules and quality standards</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FresherPay: &#8377;11,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
