We are dedicated to nurturing the unique talents and interests of each of our students.We believe that our classes can help students discover their strengths and dreams, and inspire them to pursue their goals with confidence and enthusiasm.In this current school year, we are offering after school classes at Laurel, Encinal and Oak Knoll Elementary School.For more information, please visit our website: harmonyenrichment.comAfter School Music Teacher for Fall SemesterResponsibilities:<ul><li>Must be available to work Tuesday from 2:00 -3:30pm/ 2:00 -5:00 pm (Closed on school holidays and during the winter and summer break while school is not in session)</li><li>Teach Music and Singing in a group setting for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students. Activities will include fun beginner-level rhythm, movement, and singing games. Experience with beginner-level guitar (preferred) and piano (preferred) is a plus.</li><li>Classroom management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment for students</li><li>Plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with program goals</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior</li><li>Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized classroom/workspace</li><li>conflict resolution/peacemaking</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Experience working with children in a tutoring, daycare, or physical education setting</li><li>Experience teaching music (vocal, guitar and piano, ) to children</li><li>Knowledge of basic music theory and beginner-level techniques for guitar and piano</li><li>Knowledge of child welfare and development principles</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Dedicated work ethic; proactive, responsible, and reliable</li><li>Well-organized and committed</li><li>Ability to be adaptable and successfully multi-task</li><li>Effective in developing confidence and motivation in children</li></ul>We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team.
