The Housekeeper shall be responsible for cleaning common living areas and resident apartments in the community.
<p></p><ul><li>Oversee cleaning of the entire facility, with particular emphasis on the common areas and the apartment bathrooms</li>
<li>Complete maintenance request reports when needed</li>
<li>Report deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to housekeeping supervisor</li>
<li>Operate the laundry equipment when needed</li>
<li>Report inadequate quantities of all supplies needed to perform duties to housekeeping supervisor</li>
<li>Use only approved cleaning products and ensure that all cleaning supplies are properly stored at all times</li>
<li>Clean office areas when assigned</li>
<li>Dust and clean all window blinds in the community</li>
<li>Dust all furniture, book shelves, etc. in resident apartments and common areas</li>
<li>Vacuum common areas and resident apartments</li>
<li>Keep common area and resident bathrooms clean</li>
<li>Clean apartments at resident move-out</li>
<li>Attend required in-services and staff meetings</li>
<li>Maintain resident privacy/confidentiality at all times. Follow all policies regarding release of resident information</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
<li>Requirements:</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Housekeeping experience highly desired</li>
<li>Ability to understand verbal and written instructions</li>
<li>Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time</li>
<li>Ability to work well with others as part of a team</li>
<li>Polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers and management team</li>
<li>Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push and pull for extended periods of time</li>
<li>Must be able to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet</li>
<li>Must wear designated uniform during work hours and maintain good personal hygiene</li>

The Med Tech provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents of the community as well as assists with the administration of prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
<p></p>Assists with the administration of prescribed medications within the established scope of practice. Must maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position Assists residents with activities of daily living Reports incidents involving residents to include care concerns or issues, to appropriate individuals (ex: HCD, RN/LPN, or ED) Perform housekeeping duties, such as making resident beds, cleaning resident apartments, common areas, dining room, etc. as directed by supervisor Respond promptly to all resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents Follows confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information Assists residents to and from the dining room, and to and from activities Checks on residents, ensures attendance at meals and activities Checks on residents who are ill and reports status or concerns to appropriate individuals Communicate verbally and in writing to report resident status, upcoming community information, resident appointments, admissions, and transfers Assists new residents with move-in transition: provide emotional support Attendance to all medication trainings scheduled Complete medication cart audits as assigned and maintain the medication cart as directed Pass all medication administration observations Communicates all medication resident needs to the HCD and documents in the Daily Log Re-orders medications, faxes to pharmacy, communicates with resident family/RP as needed with changes. Reports in Daily Log Documents all medication administration on the EMAR/MAR. Reports all exceptions to the HCD and documented on EMAR and Daily Log Other duties as assigned Requirements: Must have High School Diploma or GED Must have completed the Medication Aide Course. Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits assigned Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs Must be able to safely lift and transfer residents while maintaining proper body mechanics Must be in designated uniform during working hours, to include name badge and a smile Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire Must be able to represent the community in a positive and professional manner Must attend and complete all required in-services and staff meetings Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays Must be able to remain calm and competent during emergencies

</b></h1>The concierge/receptionist performs a variety of administrative support duties including: greeting all visitors to the community, answering the telephone, transferring calls to appropriate party, and taking accurate messages. Monitors walkie-talkie, door security system and fire panel as needed. Monitors resident sign-in and sign-out log and the visitor registration log and completes administrative support functions such as filing and making copies.

<p></p>Resident Billing and Cash Receipts Maintain and update with each change for Lease Summary, Move-In/Move-Out Report, Average Residency Resident surveys Accounts Payable: Code invoices, obtain necessary approvals from the Executive Director and applicable Department Heads, and forward to corporate office daily. Maintain vendor contracts and files Declining balance spend-down sheets: Update and distribute to the appropriate Department Heads each month. Order background checks, compile test results and advise when applicant has successfully completed pre-hire process Process new hire paperwork and ensure accuracy and completeness Work with Department Heads to identify open positions, advertise and interview potential candidates if appropriate Initiate and track FMLA absences (FMLA, ADA) working with Human Resource Department Assist with associate relations and progressive counseling as needed Overseas Worker&rsquo;s Compensation forms and process for the community Provide all departments with personnel forms and/or packets Deliver New Hire orientation for all new hires in accordance with State regulations and Harmony Senior Services policies and procedures Responsible for all aspects of managing the Concierge team and their scheduling to meet the business needs of the community.
