<b>About the role</b><br>
Harneys is seeking a Legal Secretary to join the Litigation/Dispute Resolution &amp; Private Wealth team in Jersey.<br>
The successful candidate will be working closely with the fee earners and gain international exposure across all our offices. The Jersey team is made up of 7 employees.<br>
You will provide support to all lawyers, partners and the office manager.<br>
<br>
<b>Key Responsibilities</b>
<ul><li>Opening and managing files</li><li>
Diary management for fee-earners</li><li>
Arranging travel and accommodation for lawyers</li><li>
Assisting in the billing process</li><li>
Drafting and preparing court documents and bundles</li><li>
Performing court searches</li><li>
Drafting and proofing correspondence</li><li>
Receiving visitors and deliveries at reception</li><li>
Placing lunch orders for meetings with clients and assisting to tidy the conference room</li><li>
Shredding and archiving</li><li>
Arranging couriers and dealing with suppliers</li></ul>

<b>Qualifications and Experience</b><br>
<ul><li>Experience in a professional services environment (financial or legal services) preferred but not essential</li><li>
Strong computer skills</li><li>
Well organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Proactive, flexible and a team player, with the ability to take direction</li></ul><br>
