We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Quality Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in electro-mechanical industrial products. The ideal candidate will design and implement new test systems for electronic production testing, maintain and improve existing systems, and collaborate with inspectors and technicians to ensure product quality. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate with R&amp;D during new product development to plan inspection processes and proactively address potential quality issues.</li><li>Source and integrate equipment for testing and analyzing electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.</li><li>Design and implement custom applications to automate and/or control inspection processes.</li><li>Monitor and maintain the integrity of all electrical test systems; troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.</li><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support quality control for new and existing products.</li><li>Lead or contribute to Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) initiatives.</li><li>Partner with manufacturing engineering to develop preventive action plans addressing electronic product nonconformities.</li><li>Partner with suppliers in resolving electronic product quality concerns.</li><li>Provide technical guidance&mdash;through verbal instructions, sketches, or schematics&mdash;to technicians for rework of assemblies, maintenance of test equipment, and implementation of new testing solutions.</li><li>Support ISO documentation and ensure compliance with outside certification agencies.</li><li>Assist UL and CSA auditors during unannounced audits.</li></ul>Educational Requirements:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineeringQualifications:<ul><li>Experience in the following areas:</li></ul>o Creating applications in LabVIEW, Python and similar programming languageso Test system design and validationo Experience with Arduino, PLCs, and Embedded Controllerso Experience working with oscilloscopes and multimeters and possessing some basic soldering skillso Experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies and equipment<ul><li>Ability to multi-task and a desire to work in a &ldquo;hands-on&rdquo; environment</li><li>Excellent communication, problem solving and relationship building skills</li><li>Ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external customers</li><li>Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the company&rsquo;s mission</li><li>Effective in a team environment as well as performing assignments individually</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods</li><li>Regular exposure to manufacturing areas requiring personal protective equipment</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Office environment with regular exposure to manufacturing areas</li><li>Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone</li><li>Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports</li><li>Predictable and reliable attendance required</li><li>Position requires 40 hours/5 days a week in-person at the Company&rsquo;s facility</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From $83,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
