POSITION SUMMARY:</b></div><p>
As a Tasting Room Host at Hartford Court, you will:</p><ul><li>

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:</b><br>
<i>Include (but are not limited to)</i></p><ul><li>
Share the Hartford Family story with authenticity, conviction, and connection; orchestrate a quality, memorable guest experience</li><li>
Harness strategic selling skills; encourage wine sales, club membership sign-ups, mailing list members &amp; brand awareness</li><li>
Process orders accurately within POS system; pack &amp; fulfill customer orders</li><li>
Maintain accurate customer information &amp; update POS as needed</li><li>
Acquire &amp; share wine knowledge with all guests; tailor conversation effectively to the respective audience, from experienced wine professionals to novices</li><li>
Create &amp; maintain a customer-focused environment, anchored on building relationships, rapport, &amp; loyalty</li><li>
Hone exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with clarity &amp; consistency, both verbally &amp; in writing</li><li>
Uphold confidence &amp; comfortability speaking to varying group sizes and VIPs</li><li>
Employ technological savvy; troubleshoot issues as needed</li><li>
Wash &amp; polish glassware; restock glassware &amp; inventory items</li><li>
Clean &amp; maintain Tasting Room aesthetic as intended</li><li>
Utilize organizational skills, attention to detail, &amp; the ability to follow through on projects</li><li>
Assist with printing menus &amp; collateral</li><li>
Assist with Tasting Room inbox, answer phone, respond to emails &amp; voicemails, &amp; schedule reservations for guests</li>
Uphold professional appearance, demeanor, &amp; enthusiasm<br>

JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b></div><div><div><i>
Essential Skills, Experience, and Education</i></div></div><ul><li>
Must be 21 years or older</li><li>
Working weekends is a must</li><li>
Experience within the hospitality or food and beverage industry</li><li>
Follow &amp; adapt to all current CDC guidelines to ensure safety of all staff &amp; guests also including CA food safety &amp; responsible beverage service</li><li>
High School Diploma</li></ul><div><i>
Physical Requirements</i>:</div><div><ul><li>
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.</li><li>
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, occasional events, and some holidays</li><li>
Ability to sit bend, stoop, twist and walk for prolonged periods of time</li></ul><div><b>
WAGE TRANSPARENCY</b>:</div><div>
The base pay for this role ranges from $19.52 - $27.80 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
