Experienced Automotive TechnicianFull-time position; Monday &ndash; Friday, business hours ranging between 7:00am to 6:00pm. Saturday rotation is required, 7:00am &ndash; 3:00pm.We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to become a part of our Hastings Chrysler Center team!Core Responsibilities and Duties: <ul><li>Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity</li><li>Perform repairs to specifications (brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment)</li><li>Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks)</li><li>Maintain equipment and tools in good condition</li><li>Completing warranty repairs</li><li>Used vehicle reconditioning</li><li>Maintain a neat and organized work area</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits: The hourly wage for this opportunity is $21.00/hour to $67.00/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including production, relevant work experience, education, and certification &amp; licensure. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. Hastings Chrysler Center supports career progression, offers benefits package which includes retirement savings match, paid time off, health and wellness benefits and vehicle purchase and service discounts for full-time employees.Qualifications: Required: <ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>2+ years of experience working at a dealership as an Automotive Technician</li></ul>Preferred: <ul><li>2+ years of experience with Stellantis certifications working at a Chrysler dealership as an Automotive Technician</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities: <ul><li>Ability to complete job assignments with high quality in timely manner</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities</li><li>Effective communication &amp; team collaboration skills</li><li>Understanding safety awareness &amp; protocols to ensure industry standards are met</li><li>Continuous learning and ongoing education to keep up on latest trends and innovations in automotive technology</li></ul>Here at Hastings Chrysler Center, we value relationships with our customers and are committed to helping them enjoy the car of their dreams every mile they travel.
