WELDER POSITION: 2-5 YEARS WELDING EXPERIENCE REQUIREDPOSITION OVERVIEW: This position operates various pieces of equipment to fabricate materials per customer specifications in conjunction with quality requirements, safety standards, and manufacturing philosophies within a team environment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Minimum 2-5 years welding experience:</li><li>Tig &amp; Mig</li><li>Experience with various kinds of metal including stainless steel</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Welding program diploma preferred</li><li>Fabrication experience that includes knowledge of layout, fabrication and welding stainless steel</li><li>Excellent understanding of safety practices and procedures in a fabrication environment</li></ul>Must be able to:<ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints</li><li>Follow verbal and written work orders</li><li>Perform inspection of parts using measurement tools</li><li>Operate overhead cranes, tape measure and caliper, basic hand tools, and square protractor</li><li>Lifting requirements:</li><li>Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds</li><li>Frequently lift and/or move items weighing 50-100 pounds</li></ul>Hourly compensation commensurate to experience.
