In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining mechanical components and production equipment used in tobacco manufacturing. This role supports efficient, high-quality production operations while ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Your role in our team<ul><li>You will assemble, align, and install mechanical components, subassemblies, and production parts for tobacco-processing and packaging equipment</li><li>Perform routine mechanical adjustments, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment to complete accurate assemblies</li><li>You will inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and adherence to company specifications</li><li>Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production teams to resolve mechanical issues and support continuous improvement efforts</li><li>Maintain clear and accurate documentation of assembly work, inspections, and maintenance activities</li><li>You will follow all company safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and tobacco-industry regulations</li><li>Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards</li><li>Participate in required training and cross-training to support operational flexibility</li><li>Manage logistics for plant tours, vendor visits, and customer visits</li></ul>Your profile<ul><li>You have a high school diploma or GED; your technical training is preferred</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of mechanical assembly or maintenance experience in manufacturing</li><li>Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience reading blueprints and technical documents</li></ul>Can you find yourself in this profile?
