Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to become part of the Hauptman, O'Brien team in our Bellevue location. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support, ensuring smooth operations and efficient case management. Your exceptional skills will help facilitate legal processes, manage documentation, and help deliver outstanding client service.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage and maintain case files using our document management system and maintain strict confidentiality of client and case information.</li><li>Interact with clients to obtain necessary case and medical information.</li><li>Contact medical providers to obtain medical bills, records, etc.</li><li>Prepare, review, and proofread documents, including pleadings and correspondence, with precision and attention to detail.</li><li>Electronically file documents with the courts.</li><li>Manage calendars for appointments, hearings, depositions, etc.</li></ul>Requirements/Skills:<ul><li>Minimum of five years' experience as a legal secretary in a law office, with experience in litigation and personal injury work given special consideration.</li><li>Excellent typing skills (60+ wpm).</li><li>Knowledge of the litigation process and how to file documents electronically with the courts.</li><li>Excellent communication, telephone and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe.</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, as well as excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills.</li></ul>Join us in this rewarding role where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional legal support while advancing your career in a vibrant professional environment!Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li></ul>Work Location: In person
