Job Overview
<br>We are currently looking for paid Sustainability Marketing Interns to join our team in Holland, MI . This position will be working onsite at the Haworth Corporate Headquarters .
<br>Get ready for an adventurous summer as a Haworth intern! You'll join a cohort of around 50 other dynamic interns for a 12-week program packed with hands on learning. After a few weeks you’ll be attending NeoCon, the largest commercial design event in the world. There you will get an insider's look at all the latest industry trends and innovations. Throughout the summer you will dive into real projects that will give you a taste of what it's like to work in a leading business and manufacturing environment.
<br>Each week brings new experiences as a group. Sharpen your skills with interactive workshops on networking, public speaking, and using AI tools in a business environment. Connect with mentors and see all areas of the office and manufacturing processes. Then unwind at intern only social events where you can meet people from all corners of the business. By the end of the summer, you'll leave with real skills, an expanded professional network, and memories to last a lifetime. This is your chance to take your career to new heights!

As a Sustainability Marketing intern, you will also have the opportunity to assist with a variety of exciting projects including: Sustainability and trends and research/analytics of sustainability content.

Required Qualifications
<br>Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Sustainability with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
<br>Ability to work On-site in Holland, MI from May 2026 to August 2026.
<br>Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.

Preferred Qualifications
<br>Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher
<br>Prior Haworth Experience
<br>Previous Employment Experience
<br>Extra-Curricular Activity Experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
<br>Ability to write well
<br>MS Word and PowerPoint
<br>Basic project management skills
<br>Adobe products, specifically InDesign
<br>Canva

<b>Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:</b><br>
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
<br>Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.

Key Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li><div>
Coordinate daily with <b>freight forwarders</b>, <b>shipping lines</b>, and stakeholders for smooth logistics operations.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain and update the <b>Daily Shipment Report (DSR)</b>.</div></li><li><div>
Obtain quotations from service partners and manage the approval process.</div></li><li><div>
Issue <b>Purchase Orders (POs)</b>to approved partners and ensure timely documentation for international shipments.</div></li><li><div>
Prepare and submit <b>Commercial &amp; Tax Invoices </b>and manage <b>Vendor Reconciliation</b>.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure timely accounting of invoices for project costs and assist in <b>audit &amp; VAT reconciliation</b>.</div></li><li><div>
Work on ERP systems and maintain proficiency in <b>Microsoft Excel </b>and <b>Office applications</b>.</div></li><li><div>
Adapt to working on <b>UAE timings </b>when required.</div></li></ul><div><b>
