<div>Job Functions:

Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the Haws' operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.

Accountabilities:

Expedite and support OPS plan</li><li>
Incoming freight support</li></ul>

Other Job Duties:
<ul><li>Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets</li><li>
Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations</li><li>
Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments (engineering, quality, product management, etc.) on purchasing processes and new projects and activities</li><li>
Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization</li><li>
Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers</li><li>
Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities</li><li>
Prepare reports and updates as and when required</li><li>
Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements</li><li>
Adhere to any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors</li><li>
Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods</li><li>
Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure purchase life cycle is completed and closed out including payments to suppliers using 3-way match with Receiving and Finance.</li><li>
Build, maintain and manage supplier rapport and keep up good communications</li><li>
Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships</li><li>
Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process.</li><li>
Conduct research for sourcing of new components and suppliers</li><li>
Compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation</li><li>
Assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance</li><li>
Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues</li></ul>

Skills/Qualifications:
<ul><li>
High Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced)</li><li>
Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP with a solid understand of discrete manufacturing, bills of material, product lifecycle management, procure to pay processes and supply chain operations.</li><li>
Excellent analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Ability to evaluate and analyze data to enable operational decision-making or present clear recommendations to leadership.</li><li>
Demonstrated skills in supplier operational and relationship management.</li><li>
Passionate and high energy, with the diplomacy and cooperative style necessary to positively influence others, both inside and outside of Haws.</li><li>
Ability to write, speak and present effectively and persuasively.</li><li>
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Flexibility and adaptability are key.</li><li>
Detail-oriented and organized.</li><li>

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or similar discipline. At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, finance, or supply chain management; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Language Skills: Fluent in (spoken and written) English language.

Reasoning Ability: Strong critical thinking skills
