This remote position requires an active California Dental License and enrollment as a Denti-Cal provider. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organization where your work directly improves access to care for patients across California. As a Remote Dentist, you will conduct virtual oral health assessments, ensure dental assistants follow proper assessment procedures, and empower patients through oral hygiene education. You&rsquo;ll work closely with our team to ensure high-quality image capture and provide actionable recommendations that patients can take to their primary dentist. Please note that this is not an immediate hire &amp;mdash; credentialing takes approximately 6&ndash;8 weeks after all required documents, including updated vaccine records, have been submitted. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Conduct synchronous teledentistry assessments in compliance with Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal guidelines</li><li>Ensure dental assistants follow the oral health assessment process accurately and consistently</li><li>Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and recommendations for preventive care</li><li>Document detailed clinical notes for each patient before moving on to the next</li><li>Review and confirm that the necessary intraoral images are captured during the visit</li><li>Maintain a valid Dental License, DEA license, and Liability Insurance</li><li>Deliver education and care with empathy, professionalism, and clarity</li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>Must be an active Denti-Cal (Medi-Cal Dental) provider</li><li>Valid CA Dental License</li><li>Active DEA license</li><li>Proof of completion of 50 CE credits (required for license renewal)</li><li>Active Liability Insurance</li><li>Up-to-date vaccine records (required for credentialing)</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a fully remote environment</li><li>Demonstrated alignment with our core values and commitment to equitable care</li></ul>Work Schedule: <ul><li>Full-Time: Approximately 5 days per week, with work performed during clinic operating hours (typically 8:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM)</li><li>Part-Time: Minimum of 3 days per week (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday), also within clinic operating hours</li></ul>Ready to help transform oral health access across California?
