Responsibilities:

The Dentist will provide general dentistry services to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long term care facilities within an assigned territory.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Essential Functions:</b></div><ul><li>
Provides routine, preventative examinations and oral cancer screenings</li><li>
Performs routine extractions and fillings</li><li>
Performs denture fabrications, relines, and repairs</li><li>
Performs restorative dental services including crowns and bridges</li><li>
Provides cleanings and x-rays</li><li>
Provides emergency services</li><li>
Dentists are expected to maintain a monthly average of 20 patients per day</li><li>
Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.</li><li>
Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>D.D.S. or D.M.D.</li><li>
State professional license</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>
Dentistry background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of dental care.</li><li>
Ability to work collaboratively with an assistant or independently if necessary.</li><li>
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to use email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.</li></ul></div>

Responsibilities:

</b></div><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive examinations and regular dental care</li><li>
Traditional daily patient care will include examinations, restorative, routine extractions, denture fabrications, and repairs</li><li>
Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system</li><li>
Responsible for applying proper coding guidelines and populating appropriate billing codes for services provided to patients</li><li>
Adheres to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment</li></ul>

Ability to transport mobile dental equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.)</li><li>
