About the role
HealthFitness is looking for part-time Front Desk Attendants to join the team at our client site located in Rochester Hills, MI.
In this position, you will greet, check-in and assist customers; provide program information, services, membership and ensure the highest possible level of customer service and participant satisfaction.
 
 
You will be working approximately 10 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling throughout the weekdays and weekends.
Minimum Requirements<ul><li>
Previous customer service experience a plus.</li><li>
Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety &amp; Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.</li><li>

About the role
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming first impression? We&rsquo;re hiring a full-time (40 hours per week) Front Desk Receptionist to be the friendly face of the Walton Family Whole Health &amp; Fitness center, run by HealthFitness. In this role, you&rsquo;ll support the Front Desk Director and Manager while helping create a positive, seamless experience for members, guests, and stakeholders every day. 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week,1:30pm-10:15pm
Greet, check-in and assist customers. Provides program information, services, membership and ensures the highest possible level of customer service and participant satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities:<ul><li>
Greet, engage with, and be attentive to members and guests, practicing a positive, hospitality focused mindset.</li><li>
Be knowledgeable and able to provide accurate program, services, and membership information as well as answer questions regarding all offerings.</li><li>
Support marketing/promotional campaigns to drive awareness and interest among the Walmart/Sam's Club associate community.</li><li>
Assist with all front desk administrative duties, membership enrollment processes, check-in/check-out procedures, and tracking or record keeping.</li><li>
Demonstrate proficiency in navigating a member management system (ClubAutomation) including identifying and troubleshooting account errors.</li><li>
Efficiently respond to client and participant requests, comments, or concerns in a friendly and helpful manner and bring issues to timely and appropriate resolution.</li><li>
Maintain an up-to-date, specific knowledge on participant and facility policies as appropriate, including Emergency Action Responses. Be able to recognize and respond to Educate participants on policies and procedures.</li><li>
Maintain effective relationships with department teams and participate in internal programs and special events including regular staff meetings and trainings.</li><li>
Opening and/or closing duties.</li><li>
Other duties as needed/assigned.</li></ul>
Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>
18 years of age or have earned a High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>
1 year of verifiable experience in a Customer Service or Hospitality role.</li><li>
CPR, First Aid, and AED certification through the Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or American Safety &amp; Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.</li><li>
Must be able to stand up to 50% of the time during a shift.</li><li>
Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.</li></ul>
