The hiring range for Medical Assistant I is $22.50 - $32.41. The hiring range for Medical Assistant II is $24.50 - $35.53. The full range for this position is $22.50 - $35.53 per hour. Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.

Position Summary:

Responsible for back-office functions including patient preparation, support of health care providers, laboratory procedures and clinic operations in a manner that promotes quality patient care. Act as liaison between the front office and provider to ensure timely and orderly patient flow.

Your contribution to the team includes:

Medical Assistant I
<ul>
<li>Room and prepare patients for exams, accurately document patient information into the electronic health record and prepare reports needed for patient care.</li>
<li>Provide assistance with patient exams, minor surgeries and medical procedures.</li>
<li>Responsible for adherence to clinical processes and procedures based on Medical Practice Standing Order policies established by HealthPoint.</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain exam rooms, laboratory area and lavatory with supplies.</li>
<li>Perform in-house lab testing, including but not limited to, venipuncture, hemoglobin, rapid strep, urine chemstrips, blood glucose and pregnancy tests.</li>
</ul>
Medical Assistant II
<ul>
<li>Responsible for lab coverage when necessary and all duties associated with lab coverage (proper labeling and recording of specimens, running controls, completion of control sheets and lab equipment maintenance).</li>
<li>Provide in-clinic Epic training and shadowing of new Medical Assistant staff, including Medical Assistant I, Lab Medical Assistants and Medical Assistant Extern students.</li>
<li>Assigned to be the Epic Super User for the medical back office.</li>
<li>Room and prepare patients for exams including chief complaint and vital signs and request reports needed for patient care.</li>
<li>Review and update as necessary patient demographic, medical history, social history, pharmacy, allergy, medications, and immunization information.</li>
</ul>

Must have&rsquo;s you&rsquo;ll need to be successful:

Medical Assistant I
<ul>
<li>Must possess an Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or Interim Certification. OR complete MA Registration application at time of hire and successfully complete Interim MA Certification application process within 60 days of date of hire.</li>
<li>Maintain current certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant in Washington State.</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to work evening hours and Saturdays.</li>
</ul>
Medical Assistant II
<ul>
<li>Certificate from accredited Medical Assistant program.</li>
<li>Minimum 6 months Medical Assistant experience and demonstrated leadership.</li>
<li>Epic EHR experience.</li>
<li>At time of hire, must possess an Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or Interim Certification. Maintain current certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant in Washington State.</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to work evening hours and Saturdays.</li>
</ul>

Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as key financial partner by supporting current and strategic financial planning and providing financial and business acumen to a growing organization. The Senior Financial Analyst helps operational and senior leaders make informed financial decisions, provide insights into business operations performance, and drive cost structure and allocation improvements. Working closely with operational and financial leaders, the Senior Financial Analyst will help assess the impact of financial decisions, with special emphasis on the financial outcome of grant funded programs. They will guide key financial planning and analysis processes, including the financial elements of annual federal regulatory reporting.

Your contribution to the team includes:
<ul><li>Coordinate the process and contribute to preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts in conjunction with the team of financial analysts.</li>
<li>Analyze financial statements, including revenue and expense, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for operating units and the organization.</li>
<li>Identify financial trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement through analysis and modeling.</li>
<li>Compile and analyze pre-award grant budgets and analyze budget to actual results with fund development, program stakeholders, and the grants management team.</li>
<li>Communicate through written narratives, visualizations, and conversation financial results to internal stakeholders, including senior leaders.</li>
<li>Compile, interpret, and prepare data and analyses from a variety of data sources to present results and recommendations to senior leaders.</li>
<li>Prepare ad hoc financial models incorporating a variety of data sources from disparate systems.</li>
<li>Coordinate and prepare financial reporting components of annual regulatory reports to the Health Care Authority and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.</li>
<li>Administer the financial planning and analysis system and related internal controls.</li>
<li>Maintain good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.</li>
<li>Demonstrate respectful, professional and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment.</li>
<li>Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, core values and goals of HealthPoint and its healthcare delivery including the ability to integrate values of justice, respect, compassion, excellence and stewardship into appropriate programs and services.</li>
<li>Support developing a treasury management within the financial planning and analysis team.</li>
<li>Support the implementation and maintenance of a new financial planning and analysis system, including supporting stakeholder adoption and use.</li>
<li>Support the process to renew the organization&rsquo;s annual risk management policies.</li>
<li>Attend staff meetings, in-service meetings and participate in agency committees and task force activities as required.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li>
</ul>
Must have&rsquo;s you&rsquo;ll need to be successful:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance, four (4) to six (6) years of relevant experience in financial analysis and budgeting, and two (2) years of experience working with grants or government contracts, or equivalent combination of education and experience. OR</li>
<li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or analytical field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science a plus. Two plus (2+) years&rsquo; experience working in a structured program such as public accounting in audit or consulting beneficial, as well as not-for-profit and healthcare industry experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrated operating knowledge of financial planning systems and strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), management accounting, economic concepts, and financial analyses required.</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry related journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write reports and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, clients, external groups, and/or boards of directors.</li>
<li>The ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction. Constructive thinking and alternative short-to long term solutions must be considered. Action plans must be developed and implemented.</li>
<li>Knowledge of computer equipment and Microsoft suite required. Advanced knowledge in Excel and strong proficiency factoring and analyzing data from disparate systems.</li>
<li>CPA, CFA, or CGMA certification not required but highly desirable.</li>
</ul>

Position Summary:

Responsible for provision of comprehensive primary care services in a primary medical care, ambulatory clinic setting, and in Health care for the Homeless facilities. Works independently and interdependently with other clinic providers.

Your contribution to the team includes:

<li>Provision of comprehensive primary care services for all ages in a primary medical care ambulatory clinic setting, and in Health care for the Homeless facilities working independently and interdependently with other HealthPoint providers.</li>
<li>Provide care consistent with evidence-based medicine.</li>
<li>Assess patient needs for specialty referrals, diagnostic and in-patient care and make appropriate referrals for service.</li>
<li>Provide patients and family members with counseling and education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and need for follow up as appropriate during each patient visit. Verify and document that the patient understands diagnosis, treatment and follow up recommendations.</li>
<li>Complete accurate and timely documentation in patient records and superbills.</li>
<li>Participate in patient triage system.</li>
<li>Participate in a shared call system with other providers.</li>
<li>Perform minor outpatient procedures in accordance with the scope of practice and HealthPoint privileging policy.</li>
<li>Provide consultation to other clinic providers either in person or by telephone.</li>
<li>Consult with clinic physicians, specialists, or other health care professionals as appropriate.</li>
<li>Administer medications in clinic as needed.</li>
<li>Assist with meeting clinic patient care team productivity and quality care standards.</li>
<li>Participate in development and utilization of HealthPoint practice guidelines and procedures.</li>
<li>Participate in audits, and meet standards of HealthPoint Quality Improvement, Risk Management and Utilization Management programs.</li>
<li>Maintain credentials essential for practice, to include licensure, board certification, society memberships and CPE.</li>
