Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
This role provides analytical support to the Commercial Products Department, collaborating with leadership and sourcing teams (VP, AVP, Contract Director, Contract Managers and Contract Analysts). Responsibilities include conducting integrated assessments of financial and contractual terms, researching various categories and delivering insights that inform strategic sourcing decisions.
The Sr. Analyst supports sourcing projects by coordinating the analytics team&rsquo;s review of multiple agreements within a category to establish financial and contractual baselines. This work enables the development of effective sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals. Additional responsibilities include, the coordination of the analytics team&rsquo;s completion of requested financial analyses from category leads that contribute to successful sourcing events resulting in contract utilization that provides members with high quality services and cost savings.
Major Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Collaborate with Contract Director and Contract Managers to deliver tailored financial and contractual analyses based on project specific needs</li><li>
Prepares RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) documents</li><li>
Provides accurate and timely financial analysis of vendor pricing proposals</li><li>
Prepare, review, and audit baseline reports and savings analyses; identify and escalate discrepancies to project lead prior to submission to members or leadership</li><li>
Manage external member collaboration platforms, ensuring accurate and timely input in coordination with the project lead</li><li>
Analyze member contracts, spend, and volume data to develop and maintain comprehensive project workbooks for each initiative and prepare financial impact workbooks for members</li><li>
Develop and maintain sourcing project trackers to monitor implementation timelines, utilization rates, and pricing compliance throughout the contract life cycle.</li><li>
Draft contract amendments, extensions, and member specific agreements under the guidance of the project lead</li><li>
Mentor junior analysts, offering guidance and support to build team capability</li><li>
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows</li><li>
Maintain Member Teamroom &ndash; Purchased Services page, updates documents, etc.</li><li>
Maintain database of vendor service categorization ensuring accuracy</li><li>
In coordination with Directors and Managers, prepare and lead member monthly project dashboard calls, prepare minutes and coordinate updates with project leads, take role, provide action items after each call, provide updates as needed, follow-up for completion</li><li>
Manage Analyst project tracker, assigning requesting analytics to Analyst team. Ensure quality and formatting requirements are met before submission.</li><li>
Support Directors and Managers with customer service follow-up, resolution, etc.</li><li>
Plan, lead, assist and manage training for all new analysts</li></ul>
Requirements: Education &amp; Experience:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, required</li><li>
5 + Years Healthcare Contracting Experience, required</li><li>
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets using pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization tools to support business decisions, required.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), required.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), required</li><li>
Strong analytical and negotiation skills, required</li><li>
Excellent presentation skills, required</li></ul>

Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
This position reports to the Managing Counsel of HealthTrust Purchasing Group (&ldquo;HealthTrust&rdquo;). The position will be responsible for drafting agreements, legal review of agreements, negotiations with opposing parties on terms for agreements, and consulting on issues related to agreements, primarily with suppliers of products, equipment, services, and software used by HealthTrust members and HCA affiliates.
What you will do in this role includes:<ul><li>
Provide legal support for vendor contracts to be entered into between any supplier of products, equipment, services, and/or computer software and HealthTrust for access by HealthTrust member institutions.</li><li>
Provide legal support for vendor contracts to be entered into between any supplier of products, equipment, services, and/or computer software and any HCA affiliated entity, including HCA Supply Chain operations, HCA Divisions and Facilities, HCA corporate departments, and Parallon.</li><li>
Provide legal support for membership agreements related to HealthTrust, CoreTrust, and Advantage Trust GPO programs.</li><li>
Provide legal support for pharmacy and med/surg agreements related to HealthTrust, CoreTrust, and HCA programs.</li><li>
Draft agreements and templates; coordinate with the internal business clients to ensure proper legal documents are used; review edits proposed by other contracting parties; negotiate with other parties to arrive at mutually acceptable language; and assist business clients in finalizing documents for signatures.</li><li>
Provide legal guidance on contract interpretation and other legal issues related to group purchasing and healthcare supply chain operations.
</li><li>Draft and negotiate custom pricing agreements for specific HealthTrust members.</li><li>
Provide legal guidance on compliance with various healthcare laws and regulations, especially the Anti-kickback laws and regulations, the Discount Safe Harbor, and the GPO Safe Harbor.</li><li>
Accomplish special projects as assigned by the Managing Counsel and Chief Legal Officer.</li></ul>
What qualifications you will need:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree Required</li><li>
JD Degree from accredited Law School</li><li>
Contracting experience required</li><li>
Pharmacy experience is helpful but not required</li><li>
10+ years of experience</li><li>
Member of the TN Bar, ability to be waived into the TN Bar, or willing to take the TN Bar exam.</li></ul>
