In this role, you&rsquo;ll work closely with staff and students, ensuring the school meets high cleanliness standards. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks within assigned areas to meet quality standards and safety guidelines.</li><li>
Use protective gear during all cleaning functions.</li><li>
Complete cleaning assignments on schedule.</li><li>
Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisors.</li><li>
Dust mop and damp mop floors in various areas, including classrooms and common spaces.</li><li>
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas.</li><li>
Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related duties as assigned.</li><li>
Respond promptly to paging system alerts and customer requests.</li><li>
Follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li>
Previous custodial/janitorial experience in a school setting preferred.</li><li>
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.</li><li>
Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.</li><li>
Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.</li><li>
Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.</li><li>
Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.</li><li>
Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.</li><li>
Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.</li><li>
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.</li><li>
Must provide a criminal background check.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.</li><li>

Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.</li><li>
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.</li><li>

Qualifications:

<ul><li>Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.</li><li>
Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.</li><li>
Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.</li><li>
Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.</li><li>
Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.</li><li>

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.</li><li>
Strong organizational and communication skills.</li><li>

Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting.</li><li>
