Laboratory Chemist/Technician-Hiring UrgentlyLocation: Detroit, MichiganHealthy Analytic lab is seeking junior level Laboratory chemist/technician for a ISO accredited state licensed start-up cannabis testing facility in Michigan providing the testing services including Potency, Pesticides &amp; Mycotoxins, Heavy Metals, Terpenes, Residual Solvent Analysis, Microbial testing etc. for growers and processors. Analytical methods currently include HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, ICP-MS, and PCR plating techniques for testing services. Experience in the Cannabis industry is encouraged but not necessary.Description of duties and responsibilities:&middot; Perform laboratory techniques such as sample preparation and data collection &amp; analysis on samples as defined in the laboratory standard operating procedures.&middot; Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, results, and observations collaborating with senior team members.&middot; Maintain adequate inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure that all supplies are viable for use in testing.&middot; Learns and maintains compliance with safety and all applicable legal requirements, standards, and procedures including compliance and state of Michigan CRA Guidelines.&middot; Responsible for always following the appropriate safety procedures and disposing of waste properly.Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field (chemistry or biological sciences) with 1-2 years of experience. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $45000-50,000/yr.
