SCOPE:</b></p><p>
Heartland Food Products Group, owners of Splenda, Equal, Whole Earth, Pure Via, SlimFast and Java House is looking to add a new Graphics Designer to our team to help us continue to grow our lineup of great tasting products. The role will also work on Private Label packaging to support our retail customers. Heartland is the global leader of low-calorie sweetener brand in the and is loved and enjoyed by millions of people every day. This is <b>on-site only </b>in our Carmel, Indiana Clay Terrace office.</p><p>
We&rsquo;re looking for a talented and qualified Graphic Designer with at least 3 years of professional experience to join our design team. The Graphic Designer will have responsibility for developing and modifying packaging, digital assets, social media images, collateral, point-of-purchase, and sales materials for the Branded and Private Label products for the company.</p><p>
Our packaging designs receive broad exposure as millions of people purchasing and engage with the Splenda brand every year. You will be joining a team of experienced designers and expected to bring new, creative approaches, while also having the opportunity to learn from and exchange ideas with very talented teammates.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>
Create graphics and digital assets for website, amazon, banner, and social media placements, leveraging digital design best-practices</li><li>
Create packaging graphics, from initial concepts through print-ready file</li><li>
Design and prepare print-ready files for consumers, health care professionals, sales presentations, in-store point-of-purchase, and other placements.</li><li>
Ability to present to and work with internal &ldquo;clients&rdquo;</li><li>
Gather and work within technical specifications for each project</li><li>
Translate business goals, key messages, and other creative brief elements into compelling visual solutions</li><li>
Bring modern, fresh approaches to your designs to ensure they enhance the way our brands are perceived in the market, reinforcing our category leadership position</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>
QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li>
Strong proficiency with Mac versions of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat.</li><li>
Collaborative mindset, working closely with brand teams.</li><li>
Positive, can-do attitude with a drive to learn and grow within a fast-paced working environment.</li><li>
Proven ability to execute visually inspiring solutions to creative challenges.</li><li>
Experience creating a variety of print materials, including packaging.</li><li>
Understanding of printing processes, ideally including Flexo, on various substrates.</li><li>
Experience in page layout and multiple print processes.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines</li><li>
Ability to track projects to ensure on time delivery of graphic assets.</li></ul><p><b>
REQUIREMENTS:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in related field (Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design) or equivalent work experience focused on graphics design</li><li>
Adobe Creative Suite: 3+ years of experience</li><li>
Retail Packaging Design Experience strongly preferred</li><li>
Collateral Development or Point of Purchase material design experience</li></ul><p><b>

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and interact with computers, telephone and other electronic media</li><li>
Must possess visual acuity to document company records</li><li>
Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend</li><li>

Scope:</b></div><div>
The Production Operator is capable of efficiently operating machinery on product line in Sweeteners equates to either Clouds or Ropaks and maintains documentation with a high degree of accuracy and quality.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities</b>:</div><ul><li>
Promotes safety and conducts him/herself in accordance with all safety guidelines at all times.</li><li>
Inspects products for defects, and measure products to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.</li><li>
Observes machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines, within tolerances, as necessary.</li><li>
Reads job orders to determine product specifications to plan operational sequences.</li><li>
Positions, loads, and secures stock material required for production, manually or by using power assisted equipment.</li><li>
Makes minor electrical and mechanical repairs and adjustments to machines and notify supervisor/ maintenance when major service is required.</li><li>
Starts up and shuts down manufacturing equipment following SOPs.</li><li>
Maintains and completes documentation of permanent records for the company and its customers with a high degree of neatness and accuracy.</li><li>
Utilizes all food safety and food security guidelines, including Safe Quality Foods (SQF) good manufacturing practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points.</li><li>
Demonstrates essential problem-solving methods and initiative.</li><li>
Complies with all food manufacturing and safety regulations.</li><li>
Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and other company employees.</li><li>

</b><b>Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Must have ability to understand oral and written instructions in English</li><li>
Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills</li><li>
Must have good job performance and attendance records</li><li>
Prior team lead experience is preferred</li><li>
Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred</li></ul><div><b>
