We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Oman. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and financial compliance. Candidates with CA Inter, ACCA (Qualified/Part Qualified), or M Com qualifications are encouraged to applyKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accurate recording of financial data</li><li>Prepare journal entries, ledger postings, and account reconciliations</li><li>Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports</li><li>Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities</li><li>Prepare and submit tax-related reports and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations in Oman</li><li>Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules</li><li>Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements</li><li>Assist with internal and external audit processes by providing the required documentation and information</li><li>Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and support management with financial analysis and budgeting</li><li>Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records, supporting documents, and accounting files</li><li>Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, and government authorities on finance-related matters as required</li><li>Support cash flow monitoring and financial planning activities</li><li>Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager</li><li>Desired candidate profile</li><li>CA Inter or ACCA (Qualified/Part Qualified) is mandatory</li><li>Minimum 4&ndash;8 years of accounting experience, with mandatory work experience in the Sultanate of Oman</li><li>Familiarity with Omani tax regulations and statutory compliance</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li></ul>Pay: RO400.000 - RO500.000 per monthWork Location: In person
