This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of large-scale construction, demolition, or waste management operations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and flatbeds with precision and safety.</li><li>Load and unload freight, debris, or materials using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.</li><li>Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations while maintaining a positive attitude.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, cargo details, and delivery records for compliance purposes.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate deliveries and pickups efficiently.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols related to operating refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, or specialized equipment.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.</li><li>Experience driving manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers preferred.</li><li>Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route planning and navigation.</li><li>Familiarity with operating dump trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, or tanker trucks is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to load &amp; unload freight safely using forklifts or other lifting equipment when required.</li><li>Knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial vehicles.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a responsible attitude towards safety and punctuality.
