The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling all phases of personal injury litigation &mdash; from intake through trial &mdash; and a strong passion for advocating for injured clients.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage a full caseload of personal injury cases (auto accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, etc.)</li><li>Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions; conduct depositions and mediations</li><li>Develop case strategies and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel</li><li>Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings, including trials</li><li>Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and support staff to ensure efficient case management</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>J.D. from an accredited law school</li><li>Active license to practice law in the State of Texas (in good standing)</li><li>[3+] years of experience in personal injury litigation preferred</li><li>Strong written and oral advocacy skills</li><li>Bilingual - SPANISH is PREFERRED</li><li>Excellent organizational and case management abilities</li><li>Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Trial experience a plus</li><li>Must be able to travel from Corpus Christi to Houston</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
