Execute and review public health education and screening protocols with regards to tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases, hepatitis, and HIV prevention and harm reduction in accordance with Article 27-F of the Public Health law and under the Mental Hygiene law in coordination with the Medical Director/Nurse Manager.</li><li>
Implement and carry out a medically based group for patients on the above topics.</li><li>
Serves on special review and quality assurance committees as assigned.</li><li>
Provide and document medical consultation, assessment, examination, and treatment planning and review consistent with agency policy and requirements.</li><li>

Qualifications:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work on a Per Diem basis out of Helio Health&rsquo;s<b>Lincoln House Residential Program</b></div><div></div><div><br>
This position will be scheduled <b>Evenings, 3:00pm-11:30pm shift</b>.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Pay: </b>$23.76 - $27.23 per hour.</div><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Works in a variety of clinical settings providing medical and counseling services as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.</li><li>
Provide client services for medical issues.</li><li>
Monitors and documents clients&rsquo; medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal and reports to supervisor or medical director.</li><li>
Works with other medical staff for continuity of clients&rsquo; medical care.</li><li>
Communicates with clinical staff regarding clients&rsquo; medical concerns.</li><li>
Works directly with clients in providing medical services and interpreting medical information.</li><li>
Provides direct client care of medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, communicable and infectious disease reporting in accordance with the law.</li><li>
Provides public health and screening protocols.</li><li>
Provides and documents medical consultation, assessment, examination, and treatment planning and review consistency with agency policy and requirements</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Must be a licensed practical nurse currently registered by the New York State Education Department.</li><li>
Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency preferred.</li><li>
Basic computer skills required.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
