<li>Coordinate with the Rig Manager and HSE Specialist, initiatives, and concerns.</li>
<li>Assume a leadership role through orientation, mentoring and the coaching of crew members regarding the H&amp;P and Client HSE Policy and procedural requirements to the extent of personal</li>
<li>Monitor the Short Service Employee (SSE) program to ensure implementation.</li>
<li>Consult and advise Drilling Operations in matters relating to HSE.</li>
<li>Liaise with Operator regarding HSE matters.</li>
<li>Independently monitor and observe ongoing rig operations daily with a focus on conformance to the H&amp;P policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Mitigate exposures observed as required.</li>
<li>Participates in and coordinates rig HSE meetings providing feedback and learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Initiates and participates in Incident Investigations and ensures reporting is accurate and delivered in a timely manner. This should include the follow-up of all High SIF Potential events.</li>
<li>Ensure rig complies with H&amp;P requirements on all internal safety inspections in Esafe.</li>
<li>Perform rig HSE audits and inspections and report and record them as per record retention policy.</li>
<li>Ensure the implementation of R&amp;R program.</li>
<li>Ensure HSE Critical Equipment at the installation is properly maintained as directed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).</li>
<li>Maintains Emergency drills (Trip, BOP, H2S, Fire, Man down, and muster drill) as required.</li>
</ul>
<div> Monitor compliance against the monthly HSE schedule. </div>
<ul>
<li>Communicate all HSE Alerts, Weekly talking points, incidents, and high SIF Potential to all crew members.</li>
<li>Ensure of Reviewing Flex check, JSA and compass card prior starting tasks</li>
<li>Participate in all pre-job planning activities for SIF Potential operations.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Rig Manager concerning the implementation of the Rig Management System on-site and the</li>
<li>Oversee implementation of operational systems and procedures to include but not be limited to: Permit to Work, System, LOTOTO System, Hazardous Chemical-SDS, PPE System and H2S Awareness.</li>
<li>Maintenance of the Corrective Action Register for non-compliance items arising from meetings and inspections.</li>
<li>Maintenance of the Lifting &amp; Slings Register and Inspection program (R&amp;S Register) for the rig.</li>
<li>To provide and ensure the onshore rig induction program properly to all employees and visitors.</li>
<li>To conduct the Fire Extinguisher/Fire Fighting equipment inspections, SCBA/SABA inspections and to maintain their records properly.</li>
<li>Submit all required HSE reports to H&amp;P and the client in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Maintain a comprehensive and complete handover file.</li>

<ul>
<li>Coordinate and manage all rotation schedules to ensure full crew availability and manage shortages.</li>
<li>Liaise with Camp Boss to ensure the quality delivery of catering services and staff.</li>
<li>Liaise with the rig manager to ensure smooth communication and all related issues regarding logistic and staff needs are resolved.</li>
<li>Coordinate with rig managers and labor providers in close out labor related issues and concerns as they arise.</li>
<li>Maintain and develop work schedules and assignments.</li>
<li>Address performance concerns raised by rig managers and coordinate disciplinary actions with manpower providers/HR department.</li>
<li>Investigate accidents and incidents and take corrective action as necessary.</li>
<li>Prepare reports on crew productivity and crew time sheet.</li>
</ul>
<div> Authorities: </div>
<ul>
<li>Authority to manage crew shortages in coordination with rig manager and manpower contractors/HR department.</li>
<li>Authority to liaise with manpower contactors.</li>
<li>Authority to request transportation and lodging services for the crew.</li>
</ul>

<div> Skills: </div>
<ul>
<li>Communication: Should be able to explain complex processes and procedures in a way that the team members can understand. Also to able to give feedback to the team members and offer constructive criticism when necessary.</li>
<li>Problem-solving Skills: To be able to identify issues, develop solutions and implement them.</li>
<li>Must possess sound reasoning skills, common sense and the ability to follow directions.</li>
<li>Must possess basic mathematical skills (equivalent to a high school education) and be proficient in rig math.</li>
<li>Must possess advance computer skills (Especially MS Excel).</li>
</ul>
