Job Summary:The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. The role requires a high level of accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead and support the accounting team in achieving departmental goals.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.</li><li>Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.</li><li>Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, PT, and other statutory returns.</li><li>Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits; ensure audit schedules and documentation are prepared accurately.</li><li>Maintain records for fixed assets and depreciation calculations.</li><li>Oversee cash flow management and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.</li><li>Review and approve journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations.</li><li>Support management in decision-making through financial analysis and reports.</li><li>Supervise and guide junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in work.</li><li>Liaise with banks, vendors, and other external parties as required.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.</li><li>Professional qualification such as CA Inter / CMA preferred.</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;8 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / accounting software.</li><li>In-depth understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.</li><li>Strong communication and leadership abilities.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li></ul>Employment Type:Full-TimeWorking Days:Monday to Saturday (as per company policy)Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;50,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
