 HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
 
 As an Installation Technician in our Service Department, you will play a vital role in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of custom equipment packages. This hand-on position requires a diverse skill set&mdash;including welding, fabrication, 12V electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical assembly&mdash;and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform a variety of installation-related tasks under supervision, including routine work, troubleshooting, light maintenance, modifications, and repairs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure installation work meets customer specifications and company standards on a daily basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize a range of technical skills including welding, fabrication, 12V electrical, hydraulics, assembly, and diagnostics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Operate tools and equipment such as hand plasma cutters, cutting torches, overhead cranes, power tools, and more.
 </li>
 <li>
 Remove old equipment and install new systems, including cutting, drilling, welding, and repositioning components on customer vehicles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Diagnose and repair issues related to hydraulic systems, 12V electrical components, valves, and cylinders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, inventory, and scrap reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enter warranty findings and resolutions into the CAPA database for Tech Services.
 </li>
 <li>
 May assist in truck programming; training will be provided as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Organize work to ensure installations are completed efficiently and on time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain proper inventory and supply levels to support installation efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow all safety standards and perform preventative maintenance to reduce repair costs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate effectively with customers during service visits to understand and resolve issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional work area and appearance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrate courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment in public-facing interactions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand technical specifications and product accessories to assist customers with applications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work to achieve error-free performance with strong attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for other duties as assigned.

 Note:
 
 While this position is primarily based in our shop, occasional travel may be required for on-site service or warranty work. This role does
 
 not
 
 involve general automotive services (e.g., oil changes, brake jobs) but focuses exclusively on installation-related service and diagnostics.

 WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred)
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Basic shop math &amp; ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams &amp; blueprints
 </li>
 <li>
 Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be willing to work in a team environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience in manufacturing setting
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with weld, assembly processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, 12V electrical, hydraulics), not required
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
