Job Purpose: 
We are looking for a highly experienced Event Director to lead our global events strategy and oversee the execution of high-profile international events. This is a senior leadership role for a professional with a strong background in global event management, proven team leadership, and the ability to deliver exceptional experiences aligned with the organisation&rsquo;s brand and mission 
 
Main Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Own and lead the entire lifecycle of our international events, from concept development to post-event reporting, across key markets in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.</li><li>
Lead and manage a team of Event Managers and coordinate cross-functional support</li><li>
Design and implement event strategies that reflect the organisation&rsquo;s objectives and global positioning, ensuring each event meets its goals.</li><li>
Oversee the engagement and management of sponsors, stakeholders, and partner organisations, ensuring alignment of interests and delivery of obligations.</li><li>
Supervise the identification, negotiation, and contracting of venues and external suppliers, ensuring optimal value, reliability, and service delivery.</li><li>
Provide executive-level oversight on speaker management, VIP agendas, and delegate experience.</li><li>
Maintain full budget ownership across all events and ensure cost control without compromising quality or impact.</li><li>
Oversee all branding, messaging, and marketing efforts related to global events, ensuring alignment with the organisation&rsquo;s identity and standards.</li><li>
Establish and monitor KPIs across all areas of event planning and execution, including logistics, delegate satisfaction, sponsor ROI, and team performance.</li><li>
Act as the primary point of contact for C-level executives and key stakeholders throughout the event planning process.</li><li>
Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring continuous growth, accountability, and high performance.</li></ul> 

Requirements:<ul><li>
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in international event management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.</li><li>
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, high-level conferences and private events across multiple jurisdictions.</li><li>
Prior experience working with HNWIs, government institutions, diplomatic entities, or international organisations.</li><li>
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and motivating diverse, high-performing teams.</li><li>
Excellent project management, budget oversight, and decision-making abilities under pressure.</li><li>
Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise confidently at senior levels.</li><li>
Full professional fluency in English; other languages are an asset.</li><li>
Ability and willingness to travel frequently. Candidates must have visa-free access to Europe, North America, and Asia.</li><li>
Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset and a strong sense of ownership.</li><li>
