<p>We are representing a growing infrastructure contractor seeking a <b>Civil Estimator with a strong business development mindset</b> to drive revenue growth across telecom and civil construction projects.</p>
<p>This is not a traditional back-office estimator role. This individual will operate as a <b>&ldquo;hunter&rdquo;</b>, owning the full lifecycle&mdash;from identifying opportunities to securing contracts&mdash;while delivering accurate, competitive estimates.</p>
<p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Position Overview</b></h2>
<p>The Civil Estimator will lead estimating efforts for <b>telecom infrastructure and civil construction projects</b> (drilling, foundations, utilities, sitework), while actively developing new business relationships and expanding market presence.</p>
<p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2>
<ul><li>Prepare detailed estimates for projects ranging from <b>$50K to $2M+</b></li>
<li>Develop pricing strategies to win competitive bids</li>
<li>Generate new business with telecom carriers, tower companies, and general contractors</li>
<li>Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities</li>
<li>Attend site walks, pre-bid meetings, and client meetings</li>
<li>Lead proposal development through contract award</li>
<li>Serve as the primary client contact during preconstruction</li>
<li>Partner with operations for smooth project handoff</li>
</ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Experience</b></h2>
<ul><li>5&ndash;10+ years in <b>civil construction estimating</b></li>
<li>Experience with:
<ul><li>Sitework, utilities, foundations, or drilling</li>
</ul></li><li>Telecom infrastructure experience strongly preferred:
<ul><li>Fiber, small cell, or tower construction</li>
</ul></li><li>Proven ability to <b>win work (not just estimate)</b></li>
<li>Client-facing / business development experience</li>
<li>Strong understanding of construction cost drivers and methods</li>
</ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred Background</b></h2>
<ul><li>Existing relationships with:
<ul><li>Telecom carriers</li>
<li>Tower companies</li>
<li>Regional general contractors</li>
</ul></li><li>Experience in:
<ul><li>Directional drilling</li>
<li>Foundations / geotechnical work</li>
