<div>Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Works under general supervision in transporting patients from the nursing unit to the Imaging Department for necessary examinations.</li><li>
Lifts or transfers patients to carts or wheelchairs (may assist Radiologic Tech in transferring or lifting patients onto exam tables).</li><li>
Attends to the needs of the patient while in the Imaging Department.</li><li>
Assists in the file room and darkroom as needed.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Ability to read, write and record data well enough to follow instructions.</li><li>
Knowledge of basic department procedures which is normally acquired through completion of an elementary (8 grades) education.</li><li>
Two weeks on-the-job training is required prior to assuming full responsibilities.</li></ul>
