Essential Duties:
<div><div><ul><li>Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
</li></ul><ul><li>Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments that are in accordance with established guidelines.
</li></ul><ul><li>Instruct and monitor students.
</li></ul><ul><li>Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
</li></ul><ul><li>Manage student behavior inside and outside the classroom according to established guidelines.
</li></ul><ul><li>Provide appropriate and meaningful feedback on student work.
</li></ul><ul><li>Observe and assess student performance and development.
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assign and grade classwork, homework, assessments, and assignments.
</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in district, school, department, and parent meetings.
</li></ul><ul><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
</li></ul></div></div><div><b>Qualifications:
</b></div><div><div><ul><li>Hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or meet the district's professional qualifications.
</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
</li></ul><ul><li>Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
</li></ul><ul><li>Must abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
</li></ul><ul><li>Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
</li></ul><ul><li>Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
</li></ul><ul><li>Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
</li></ul><ul><li>Must be able to properly and consistently supervise students, particularly during emergency situations.
</li></ul><ul><li>Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.</li></ul></div></div></div>
