Henry Hill PLLC. has an immediate opening for an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team in Frisco, TX. Candidates must have 3 plus years of litigation experience with high accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and assist multiple attorneys.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provides administrative support to multiple attorneys.</li><li>Assists in preparing for hearings, trials, mediation, arbitration, depositions, meetings, etc. in a fast-paced, high volume legal practice.</li><li>Maintains, organizes, and manages electronic client files.</li><li>Knowledge of state and federal litigation deadlines - Dockets/calendars deadlines.</li><li>Exercises discretion and maintains information of a confidential nature.</li><li>Experience using a document management system.</li><li>Ability to E-file in State and Federal court.</li><li>Assist with travel arrangements and process expense reimbursements.</li><li>Maintain attorney calendars.</li><li>Assist with timekeeping/billing.</li><li>Superior written and communication skills.</li><li>Handles multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Works occasional overtime, as needed.</li><li>Adhere to Firm policies and procedures as outlined in the Firm Policies and Procedures.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Three (3) plus years of recent litigation experience in a law firm.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of the litigation process; rules of procedure; excellent litigation, secretarial, grammar, and proofreading skills.</li><li>High proficiency in MS Office Suite.</li><li>Experience with Tabs.</li><li>Ability to operate standard office equipment.</li><li>Ability to adapt to change and new technology.</li><li>Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers, clients, courts and opposing counsel and be proactive about seeking clarification of uncertainties.</li><li>Ability to work within a team environment and independently.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
