<div>PRIMARY PURPOSE
To provide on-site encouragement and support to teachers, administrators, and students in the use of technology to support instruction, learning assessment, curriculum development, communication, collaboration, research, text and multimedia production and resource access. 
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
<ul><li>One or two years prior computer, telecommunications, and/or electronic data processing experience with PC hardware.</li><li>
Extensive equipment support experience with Microsoft/Apple Operating Systems and Microsoft/Apple Office Suites</li><li>
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds or more</li></ul></div>

TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT

<div>PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Manage the school library/media center. Provide resources that allow students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesizing, and using information in library.
Creating and maintaining the campus library schedule, planning and facilitating engaging library lessons and activities for Pre-K students, promoting early literacy and a love of reading, and maintaining an organized, welcoming library environment. The Library Aide works collaboratively with teachers to support classroom instruction and foster meaningful learning experiences for all students. Work under supervision of certified Librarian Coordinator. 
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:<ul><li>
Accredited high school diploma or GED</li><li>
Vaid Texas educational aide certificate</li></ul>
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:<ul><li>
Knowledge of library service</li><li>
Instruct and manage student behavior</li><li>
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Ability to work well with children</li><li>
Ability to communicate effectively</li></ul>
EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
Preferred minimum of 3 years as an Instructional Aide</li></ul></div>
