We partner with hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and primary care providers to deliver advanced wound care directly in the home and post-acute setting.Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide advanced wound care services in patient homes and facilities throughout Eastern North Carolina (within a 1-hour radius of Greenville, NC). This role offers clinical autonomy, strong leadership support, and the opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding organization.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform comprehensive wound assessments</li><li>Develop individualized treatment plans</li><li>Manage acute and chronic wounds including:</li><li>Pressure injuries</li><li>Diabetic foot ulcers</li><li>Venous/arterial ulcers</li><li>Surgical and traumatic wounds</li><li>Perform sharp and enzymatic debridement (within scope)</li><li>Apply skin substitutes and biologics</li><li>Manage NPWT (wound vacs)</li><li>Implement compression therapy</li><li>Order and interpret labs and cultures</li><li>Prescribe medications and wound care supplies</li><li>Maintain compliant medical documentation</li><li>Collaborate with home health agencies, SNFs, and referring providers</li><li>Educate patients and caregivers</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>Active North Carolina NP license</li><li>Board Certification (FNP, PA-C, etc.)</li><li>DEA (or ability to obtain)</li><li>BLS certification</li><li>Minimum 2 years NP experience</li><li>Reliable transportation</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Wound care certification (CWOCN, WCC, CWON)</li><li>Experience with skin substitutes and NPWT</li><li>Home health or post-acute experience</li><li>Knowledge of Medicare documentation standards</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary ($100k&ndash;$120k based on experience)</li><li>Bonus potential</li><li>Mileage reimbursement</li><li>Malpractice coverage</li><li>CME allowance</li><li>Flexible scheduling</li><li>Supportive leadership team</li></ul>Why HWMS<ul><li>Mobile, patient-centered care model</li><li>Clinical autonomy</li><li>Growth opportunities</li><li>Mission-driven organization</li><li>Strong referral network</li></ul>Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
