We are seeking a proactive and experienced OSRC Flight Test &amp; Build Operations Specialist to support multiple sites, including Atlanta, GA; Hawthorne, CA; El Segundo, CA; Spaceport America, NM; Jacksonville, FL; and additional deployed operations locations as required. This role will play a key part in supporting flight test and aircraft manufacturing activities while maintaining safety, compliance, and operational excellence. The position includes up to 50% travel to deployed test and manufacturing sites.</p>

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities:</b></h3><div>
<ul><li>Support flight test and manufacturing operations, including on-site deployed locations, to ensure safe and compliant execution of activities.</li>
<li>Conduct routine inspections, audits, and risk assessments across manufacturing and flight test sites to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures relevant to flight test, deployed operations, and manufacturing activities.</li>
<li>Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety concerns; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.</li>
<li>Maintain environmental compliance, including chemical management, waste handling, and reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Manufacturing, Flight Test, and Operations teams to provide proactive support for in-person operations at both corporate and deployed sites.</li>
<li>Track key metrics and support reporting to leadership on safety, compliance, and operational performance.</li>
<li>Assist with emergency response planning, drills, and deployed operations contingencies.</li>
<li>Serve as a technical resource for operational teams regarding safety, health, and environmental concerns in manufacturing and flight test activities.</li>
</ul></div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum Requirements:</b></h3><div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Environmental Health &amp; Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in safety, operational support, or compliance in a manufacturing or technical environment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, train, and guide teams across multiple sites.</li>
<li>Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations in technical or operational settings.</li>
<li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to support deployed flight test and manufacturing operations.</li>
<li>Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or CIH are a plus.</li>
</ul></div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Physical Requirements:</b></h3><div>
<ul>
<li><p>Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout manufacturing facilities, hangars, and flight test locations for extended periods of time.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Ability to climb stairs, ladders, aircraft access stands, and work platforms when conducting inspections or safety reviews.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to approximately 25&ndash;40 pounds as needed.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach when inspecting equipment, facilities, or operational areas.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Ability to work in confined or restricted spaces when conducting safety inspections or operational assessments.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Ability to travel frequently, including commercial flights and travel to remote or operational sites.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Ability to communicate clearly in operational environments, including areas with elevated noise levels while using appropriate hearing protection.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Working Conditions:</b></h3><div>
<ul>
<li><p>Work is performed in a variety of environments including aircraft manufacturing facilities, hangars, flight test sites, laboratories, office environments, and outdoor test locations.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Frequent exposure to active aerospace manufacturing and flight test environments, including areas with elevated noise levels, moving machinery, aircraft ground operations, fuels, chemicals, and other industrial hazards.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Work may be performed in outdoor environments and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and dust, particularly at deployed test locations.</p>
</li>
<li><p>The role requires travel up to 50% to support operations at multiple company locations and deployed flight test sites. Travel may include extended stays at remote or operational test facilities.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Work schedules may occasionally include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or extended hours to support critical test events, manufacturing milestones, or operational needs.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Must be able to work effectively in fast-paced, high-consequence operational environments where safety, schedule, and operational readiness are critical.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, hard hats, respirators, and other safety gear will be required when working in operational areas.</p>
