This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your medical knowledge while contributing to efficient clinical operations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Transcribe detailed physician-patient interactions during medical examinations, procedures, and consultations with accuracy and speed.</li><li>Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to input, update, and manage patient data efficiently.</li><li>Document vital signs, medical histories, physical exam findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions clearly and thoroughly.</li><li>Assist healthcare providers by preparing preliminary documentation to facilitate smooth patient flow and reduce administrative burdens.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.</li><li>Support the organization of medical records, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and easily accessible for future reference.</li><li>Collaborate with medical staff to improve documentation workflows and adopt best practices for clinical recordkeeping.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in transcription within a medical setting or strong familiarity with medical documentation processes.</li><li>Prior experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare facility preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR systems and EHR platforms to ensure seamless data entry and retrieval.</li><li>Solid understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and general healthcare practices.</li><li>Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to keep pace with fast-moving clinical environments.</li><li>Knowledge of medical records management protocols and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA.</li><li>Strong attention to detail combined with active listening skills to accurately capture complex medical information.
